New Book on Felix Dodds is out.
Dedicated to conservation of the environment, environmentalists drive a movement that helps save and restore lost or at-risk resources of the world. While the project focus varies from deforestation to wildlife to politics, these "greenies" are united in their cause to make the Earth a better, sustainable place to live for a very long time. This book explores the work of environmentalist Friends of the Earth co-founder David Brower, microbiologist Rene Dubos who termed the phrase 'think global, act local, and author/activist Felix Dodds who has pionered stakeholder democracy and environmental security. The second preparatory meeting for Earth Summit 2012 finishes (8th March). Stakeholder Forum launched a number of publications during the meeting.
The outcomes from a conference on IEG and SDG which was hosted by UNEP and Stakeholder Forum on March 6th was attended by over 200 people can be found here.
This was based on a number of papers prepared for the event on reform of the CSD, WEO etc which can be downloaded here
We also launched a document of targets agreed from 1992 to now which we thought might help governments and stakeholders in their national assessments. This can be found here.
